The units are S-video compliant, ensuring compatibility with nearly any modern A/V device -- you can even dub/edit between two video components! The switchers also preserve 5.1-channel audio formats like Dolby Digital and DTS. Pro A/V Selectors are available in three configurations:

Model 8288S85 is the first video switcher with full digital video, component video and digital audio connections! This high-capacity switcher uses the highest quality circuitry ensuring no signal loss at any point. It features 8 A/V inputs and 5 A/V outputs, all of which support S-Video. It also offers 2 component video inputs (w/digital audio), 1 component video output (w/digital audio) and 3 i-Link (fire wire) digital video input/output connections. Comes with a full-function remote (uses 2 AA batteries, sold separately). You can't find a more powerful switcher in this price range!

Model 8288S42, our most affordable unit, offers 4 A/V inputs (2 w/S-Video) and 2 A/V outputs (1 w/S-Video). A monitor output with S-Video is also provided. It has a passive design that can be operated even when no power supply is available, making it ideal for portable applications! This model does not include a remote control.
